Finger Lakes Freeze Girls Hockey - 2017-18 Program Overview

Canandaigua Knights is committed to growing girls hockey in a centralized location for girls in the Greater Finger Lakes Region.  The 2017-2018 season will be the Finger Lakes Freeze Hockey Club's fourth season for girls ages 11-19 years old.

The Finger Lakes Freeze teams for the 2017-2018 season are: U19 House and U16 House.

Finger Lakes Freeze teams traditionally play in the Great Lakes Girls Hockey League (GLGHL) which includes home and away games against teams from the Rochester and Buffalo areas. Non-league opponents may include games against Oswego, Ithaca, Skaneateles and Camillus (Syracuse).

It's anticipated that Freeze teams will play in 1-3 tournaments during the course of the season.

Finger Lakes Freeze teams practice and play out of the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center, which is located on the northern edge of Canandaigua.  The Freeze teams consist of girls from Canandaigua, Victor, Webster, Perinton, Fairport, Avon, Naples, Geneseo, Bloomfield, and Geneva.

Canandaigua Knights Hockey and Finger Lakes Freeze programs offer consistent weekly practice schedules and reasonable season fees.
